What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a skill that opens our potential for growth by enhancing:

SELF-AWARENESS. Learn to focus your attention inward to explore your unique mental habits with clarity. Develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of yourself by rediscovering another way to relate to yourself and the world around you with openness, curiosity and kindness. With greater self-awareness, you can bring your best self forward and respond in the best way possible to the experiences you face.

STRESS MANAGEMENT through SELF-MANAGEMENT. Mindfulness helps build the skill to manage your own thoughts and emotions so you can respond to life’s demands and challenges with more flexibility, ease, and confidence.

What makes Ateneo Bulatao Mindfulness programs different from other mindfulness programs?

We offer evidence-based, effective, and integrative mind-body based training that teaches another way to approach one’s experiences with calm and openness, especially in stressful and challenging times.

The Ateneo Bulatao Center is the first center in the country certified to implement mindfulness-based cognitive interventions by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, based in Toronto, Canada.

What can I learn from this 2-hour introductory seminar?

The Ateneo Bulatao Center is committed to making mindfulness-based interventions available to everyone, and to promote these as self-care and wellness programs that individuals could proactively practice to take charge of their mental health.

A Glimpse of Mindfulness helps participants appreciate the many beneficial effects of mindfulness practice, and allows them to discover how this can bring about well-being and improvements in many areas of their lives.
